Febramec Environment Award
The Award has highlighted environmental projects launched by Brazil’s metal-mechanical industry and has recognized initiatives in the sector contributing towards sustainable development.
In the Large Company category, two companies got the award: Caxias do Sul-based Randon, for its Water and Effluents project, and Gravataí-based Dana Indústrias, for its Raw Materials and Solid Residues project.
In the Medium-Sized Company category, Brasília-based Rexam won the award for its Water and Effluents, Solid Residues, Energy and Atmospheric Emission projects. It has also received the Highlight Trophy, which is given to the company with the best results.
The Febramec Environment Award will be given annually.
